I'd be happy with 10% in a non res only draw . I'd go back and hunt I grew up in or and would love to hunt with my buddies but not at these prices and draw odds. Or should do the draws more like Nv one for res one out of state one for guided. And limit landowner to deeded land only.

Drew W.Beulah (sp) hair tag elk, came up dry for Deer which is fine. keeps me local and trying the west side.
My try for Antelope next year, I have 12 points so much research will be necessary on a choice.
regardless of draw, hope folks get out a few times if nothing more than to scout for next years hunts.

They do have a hardship type thing. Do some research and call them. My niece got her points back when she got pregnant. You can't pull that one off, but they must recognize some circumstances.

Good luck Russ! I was pissed when I found out I didn't draw my elk tag this year, turns out I wouldn't have been able to take the time off work. Sometimes bad luck can turn into good luck.
