I give it one hell of a go but do a lot more trailing and walking than anything else.

The heat and rattlers can be hard on dogs. Without a rattler tag you can't do much!

You ain't kiddin! I've caught 3 this weekend, released two and one swallowed the hook. Each fish is pushing 4 lbs. freakish huge. Fat and happy. All the fish I've caught have been full off eggs also. Should be a good spot for years to come. Gonna head back out with the kid and see if we can wrangle her up another. She was still passed out when I took off at 5 this morning. I couldn't sleep knowing there are fish this big.
