2015 Area 61 Cow/Calf Quota

I heard on the radio this morning that G&F is cutting the type 6 licenses in 61 from 1,000 down to 600.

I thought 1,000 was too many in the first place so I'm in favor of it. I guess I'm just surprised they're lowering the quota by so much in so little time. Does anyone know why?

Either way, I'm a big fan of this hunt and it looks like it will only get better with 400 less people running around.

1000 is way to many. I agree. Glad to hear of this possible reduction.
