hey all,

I don't post here very often, but thought I would post some pics of my buck I killed September 5th in my home state. It was very hot the first week of season, but a cold front came in and it snowed 6-9 inches and hunting got even tougher but managed to stick this buck at 28 yards. I have several big bucks I have been scouting for the past 5 months, but I never saw this buck in all my days scouting, so it was fun!! enjoy and sorry I am not the best picture taker lol!!

Awesome deer. I love seeing big fronts like that. The backs are just as good. Maybe its just me, but I don't recall ever seeing a velvet muley dead in the snow. Congrats!

That's a great buck. Have you considered writing your story and submitting it to the magazine? I think Oregon gets overlooked when it comes to Mule Deer hunting, but make no mistake about it, there are some great bucks here. Yours represents us well.
