Yes....in red haha!!

I had a Commander once that had a habit of micro managing to the extreme. I took a very small ($$ wise) cost estimate for him to review. It had a high risk item (long lead for some parts) that I had put in red font so we could discuss. As soon as he seen the red font he slammed the folder and threw it across the desk at me and said "Don't ever bring another document to my office in red font, or anything red for that matter. Red only stands for 2 things. Communism and over budget"

I was at a loss for words for the first time in my life. So now anytime someone mentions "in red" I always think about that experience LOL.

MM, Sorry for your loss man. Dogs are hard to let go sometimes. Sounds like she went the way I'd prefer to go myself.

We had 14 border collies on our cattle farm at one time. Talk about a handful! They are one of the best breeds I've ever been around though. We have also have had Auss cattle dogs, blue heelers, a basset hound and now a Pudelpointer. All have been great, the Pudelpointers only 12 weeks old. Had him since 8 weeks. Obviously the basset isn't a cattle dog, and neither is the Pudelpointer. But we are out of the cattle business now. So they're just pets/hunting dog. I'm partial to the herding breeds and would own another in a heartbeat.

I have one border collie, aussie mix and she is a handful. I can't imagine 14! Hopefully working them kept them entertained. If I miss her walk she drives me batty, but like the others said I am pretty attached to her. For a few years there I would walk her as far as I wanted to go and then run her behind the truck. Cattle dogs are awesome to watch, too. I also like herding breeds. They are good companions even if they aren't working dogs.

This is like your 3rd critical comment on the thread.
What would you expect folks to talk about on a thread that is started 28 days before results are posted?
I just can't wait any longer 500 times would get a little boring.:)

Might want to avoid the Nevada 2015 thread
I always get irritable when I have to wait. For example, Christmas, long line at the bar waiting on a cold one, and waiting on someone to come out of the bathroom after I've had too much fiber! :) :)

Good luck to all! Draw odds will be interesting this year with all of the quota cuts. Every area I applied first choice had cuts!
