I have two offers from former tag holder in that unit that will help me. I only need help in the scoring part. I walked all over that area chukar hunting since 1988 and know it well. I'll have a lot more trouble on my cow elk hunt in the colokum for sure.
That blues elk hunt was the most frustrating hunt I ever went on. Would have been much better and cheaper if I hunted out of the wilderness area. Everyone there killed elk. Live and learn.

Never saw an elk in the part of the wilderness I went in last year. Nice camping trip though. lol

I didn't draw anything again this year. My son didn't score any youth tags either. Can't wait for an OIL tag to have my name on it. I guess I've only lived here for 10 years and many people have built up many more points than that and haven't drawn. OTC here I come.

The deer is somewhere around 98% and the elk is 1/8.

I drew the Chelan Butte sheep tag and a cow tag in the colockum. Even bought two powerball tickets on the way home.
No antelope love in WY this year, not even a doe tag. I will miss no fishing there to

Dude you drew my dream tag! my Dad lives 15 minutes from there and I've been waiting on this tag ( and continue ) for awhile, good luck and if you are in need of help let me know, it would seem like a easy sheep tag but the butte is up and down with so many gullies and and little holes to hold up in its still a hard place to hunt. Congrats!
