This was a buck that my 4yr old daughter spotted while I was glassing some other bucks. At first I didn't look up from the spotter until she tapped me and said "dad no this one is bigger". It had came out from under us where he had been bedded. Lesson to be learned is listen to your kids!!;):D
I ended up taking him at 250 with a 25/06 one shot and drop.

Thank You. I will admit with age I found myself just seeing deer and glancing at them now she has shown me how exciting it is to see them no matter what they are..

And I had always ignored the rambling on of my kids. I probably should have listened!
Great buck for your daughter! Yea, I said for your daughter. All you did was shoot it, she had to find it for ya!:D
Nah, congratulations on a nice teamwork buck! I'd be willing to bet that she'll be behind the glass again!

Thank you Shootbrownelk.:D Thank You Genesis, Yes they sure can talk while sitting there. It has made me listen a lot closer and check whatever she sees. She has became a full addict now for any kind of hunting.:D She wants to go all the time no matter if it's to glass and maybe shoot a yote it doesn't matter. I am really looking forward to her first time! At least here in Oregon she can fill my tag on the mentor program so we only have to wait few more years..
