Grandson was with me on the farm where I shot and knocked one down according to grandson. It got up and got away. This coyote was looking at a cow that was about to calve. Maybe he is injured. He was running straight away at 350 ydsi

Went out deer hunting tonight and stalked on a buck and wasn't big enough so watched it for awhile then a coyote came out and i let the 7wsm bark and down it went, my boy was so excited. Then crawled on our hands and knees to get a better look at it over a ridge and got up on the buck and again wasn't a shooter, but let him watch it with the bino's for a bit. He really enjoyed it out there tonight and what a trooper it was 10 degrees with the wind blowing.

Went last Sunday and got the dogs talking but couldn't seal the deal. Still been real warm and raining. The weather is just plain weird. Where's the snow?

I saw on one of the TV shows a host that has his own line of .22 varmint rifles. I think it was Tim Wells.

My daughter uses a .22 Hornet when we go. It works well.
