2014 Bear Season

It was probably a couple hours. Didn't have much footage to sort through on this one years worth. My wife hasn't recovered from my last project that took a couple lifetimes of old footage (had to convert hi8 and minidv tapes) to work with, and multiple encounters that we didn't shoot the bear that have 30+ minutes of film.

I was able to harvest a 209 lb. black bear in Maine the last week in August. My father hunted all week and havested a 348 lb. boar on the last evening of the hunt. We had a terrific week of hunting. Some of you may not have heard but the residents of Maine vote on November 4th to stop bear hunting by bait, hounds and trapping. This would be a big hit to our sport and a travesty to hunters there as well as their economy. We need to keep them in our thoughts and hope that this does not pass.
