We just returned home from my 2013 Wyoming Elk hunt. What a great time we had. After scouting 5 different weeks during the last couple of months, and with the help of some great friends and family, I was able to seal the deal with my bow, on the bull we were after. He's a 7X8. It was great to be back in my old stomping grounds of Big Wonderful Wyoming. :D

Thanks. Near the Dunes, and Ivory, you're right on the money. We taped him twice, and came out with 384 Gross. He'll net around 370. Right side wasn't quite as strong, but way more than I could have ever hoped for. Feel so humbled and fortunate to take such a great bull.

Wow that bull is huge! Congratulations on taking such an awesome animal. If you get a chance to tell the story of how you got him, I know that I would love to hear about it!

Congrats on a beautiful animal! I was guessing 376" before I read through all the posts! No hesitation shooter for me!

Thanks everyone. I appreciate the nice comments. I'm in touch with Eastmans and will be submitting an article. Long story short. Extremely tough archery hunting habitat. No trees. LOL. Ambush in the morning, and watch him bed for a stalk midday. Made several stalks that failed, and finally got him on the ambush in the morning of Friday the 13th.. :) . He would bed in the deep narrow washes daily. 10 feet deep by about 8 feet wide. Saw him everyday of the hunt except two. Not sure where he went on those days... Super happy to be the lucky one to harvest him.
