2013 Idaho early unit 39

My two sons and I drew the early 39 hunt (Aug 15 - Sep 30). We haven't ever hunted this area and are looking for any advice anyone might have. Thanks.

Go high early. Get a vantage point and bring good glass! Work down hill once the mid morning winds are in your face. Hunt till dark. Good luck!

Ps. Pay a lot of attention to the bases of the large sage and bitter brush.

You're going to want to hunt the willow basins on Trinity mountain... I'm sure you'll find a good buck there.
