That's a beautiful buck; I would have thought it would've scored considerably higher than 181 (just goes to show-what's in a score anyway?)

No preference points needed. It was in a general area that I've hiked, scouted, and hunted for 15 years. I've killed numerous good (150ish") typical bucks in there but he's the best typical by a good margin. I was lucky enough to get a 7x8 non-typical with eye guards that grossed 197" many moons ago. I'll see if I can find a picture of him somewhere and post. I was really young when I got the non-typical and didn't appreciate it near enough......I thought wow that was easy I'll just kill monsters every year......HAHAHA......It took 17 years to kill another "monster"

Here is the picture of my non-typical buck that was harvested in same general area as the typical. I can't find my external hard drive with all my hunting photos on it (scaring me that I can't find it, literally thousands of pictures) or I would post original pictures instead of shoulder mount pic.
