Tough hunting this year. This was the only "shooter" I saw all week. Numbers are at an all time low in this area. I guess I did my part to make them one deer lower?!

Tough hunting this year. This was the only "shooter" I saw all week. Numbers are at an all time low in this area. I guess I did my part to make them one deer lower?!

Thanks. Believe me I am NOT complaining at all!! I was just blown away at how few deer were around, it is a scary thing.
He grossed 186 +/-...net 178 +/- (top fork was taller, but not as deep on the right side) but I don't really care about the score, I would shoot this buck every year and never complain!! We guessed the weight to be 250-280# (felt like more)
He was a TOUGH pack out... 300 ft. straight up and about two miles back to the truck. At lease it was a nice day for a hike!
