20' Spring Bear

Well has anyone else drawn the tag they were after? I drew Mt Emily/Walla Walla. looking forward to the area never been up there this early in the year. now just waiting till the snow starts coming off the hillsides...…..

haven't had a spring bear for a few years now. had a fall bear about 3 yrs ago. so kind of excited about getting into the woods this year. now deciding on rifle to be taking along, just getting a new load developed on my 280 Ackley but have since purchased a 28 Nosler, and 338 Edge to play with

I've hunted the Mt. Emily for bear. How'd you do? Did you go in right behind the snow?

What's your load for the 280 AI if you don't mind me asking?

i run H4831SC with 168gr LRAB 2900fps, IMR7828SSC 180gr 2830-2850fps, RL-26 168gr LRAB 2945, 2975 fps( this load is still getting refined)
have had a couple good loads with 140gr ballistic tips H4831SC, 7828SSC, RL-22, RL-23
been fun to load this rifle lots of sub MOA loads. i have been picky with this gun
