2 Weeks Too Late!

Got about 5" of heavy, wet snow last night and this morning. I just finished plowing my road out to the county road. Really a lot of moisture in it.

2 weeks too late for my 4th season tag.....wouldn't you know it!

I had the same problem hunting deer in Utah this last October but in reverse. The deer were down and off of the hill and onto the private before the season even started.

I saw two bucks. One was a real small 2pt hanging around with his sister and mom and the other was a huge 3pt on the private where he gave me the hee haw as I watched him.

I'm going to die laughing when Phoenix gets a few inches again and the whole city shuts down until it is gone.

I flew into Sky Harbor Airport back in the early 80's and they got a little bit of snow. No one was going anywhere and the car rental place was even refusing to rent any cars until it was gone. Talk about gridlock.

The most we've ever gotten here is 42" in one day.

Nice sunny day yesterday (Sat), but another storm moved in last night. Snowing like hell again with another 2 to 3" on the ground now. Looks like I'll have to get the plow out again. Avalanche warnings in the local mts, maybe the dought is going to be over.....

Weather has finally just got to us now. Been a real late year.

Just went to town (Cortez) for breakfast and lots of snow, maybe another 5" or so. There is a small bunch of elk (30+) across the road from my place in the apple orchard with all the deer. They have migrated from the La Platas about 20 mile away....like I said about 2/3 weeks too late!
