111-113 late deer

Slow hunting lows in the 40s and windy. No rut activity from the big ones yet. Passed 150ish deer first morning here 1/2 hour into hunt but have turned up anything else of size. Only have seen 2 bulls nothing to get excited about there either. But having a good time

We'll I left the big ones in the woods, passed on a crab clawed on one front 4x4 the first morning. Then flat missed a 170 class buck at 150 yards the next day. Headed to the flats and shot my rifle and it must of gotten bumped as I was a foot and a half low and way left at 100 yards. Only saw 3 bulls and nothing over 320 ish in all the spots we saw lots of good bulls last year. I killed a smaller 3 point to eat on the last hour of Saturday as the front rolled in, at least I have some eats this winter.

Most of the time we trust our gear, sometimes too much. Sorry to hear that it was off on a bigger antlered buck, but this one will eat well.

Great buck! That's better then anything I found. But man there were a ton of deer but all young bucks and a crap ton of does.
