The fire layer in onX is a VERY cool tool. With the ability to see hotspots it give a pretty real time look at what is burning. We watched it pretty hard last year with the fire in the Bighorns. Real time is was pretty crazy to see how fast and where the fire moved.

We have used a few brands, mostly Bakcou and Quiet Kat. The each have their own benefits, riding is honestly the best way.

Best advice in all of that country is find big vantage points and glass. The more you can se, the more likely you kill.

72 does have more private which makes it tougher to get the access needed to be at manageble objective. The private land also tends be the best habitat which helps navigate the tough winters.
