No More Game Cameras in AZ!

Game cameras are one of my favorite things about hunting. I enjoy using them to see what is on my property. I only use them to hunt private property for white tails. I have never used them out west.

    Youth Antelope Hunts

Thanks. That's a great tip. I will start buying him points when I can. That's a good deal only having to pay $10 per point.

Straight vs. Angled Spotting Scope Eyepieces

I like angled also. I am running vortex optics and have for several years. I am a tall guy also and the angled eyepiece lets me keep the trip I lower and more stable. It also allows me to get by with a lighter and smaller tripod.

    Youth Antelope Hunts

Thanks. I had read he has to be 12 to hunt in Wyoming but I did not know if I could start buying points or not. I hope we can hunt together up there in a few years. If I can draw out next year I will bring him along and see how he like hunting antelope.

    Youth Antelope Hunts

Thank you. What would be a good area for a youth pronghorn hunt? My son will be 10 next year and I want to take him, but I want to take him to a unit where we can see a lot of animals and that the terrain is not to extreme for him to have a good time. I don't think he will be up for hiking miles...

    Youth Antelope Hunts

Thank you everyone for the replies. I didn't think there were much in the way of special youth only hunts but I am glad there are some opportunities out there. I am planning on using my points next year and then putting in points for both of us so that hopefully we can draw out together for a...

    Trading a hunt

It does not seem like it has been that long since the last time I hunted in Colorado. Time passes by quick it seems like. There were four of us that went on the hunt and I was the only one with a deer tag. The other three guys were after elk. We never saw an elk on public land the entire hunt...

    Trading a hunt

Thank you. Yeah it’s been a long time since I have been on here. I have just been hunting locally the last several years. I hunted 77 78 and 751 I believe for mule deer. We covered hundreds of miles on trails and done a ton of glassing but never could find a shooter buck. The weather was really...

    Trading a hunt

Would anyone be interested in trading a western Oklahoma white tail hunt for a western big game hunt? I am looking at hunting in the 2021 hunting season out west. I would like to hunt either deer or elk, but I would be open to other big game opportunities. I have a good amount of private land to...

    Public Land Access

I am from Oklahoma and I am interested in applying to hunt in Wyoming for antelope next year, and I was wondering about what the acces to public land is like for out of state hunters? I read that in order to hunt wilderness areas I must be accompanied by a guide. I want to do a public land DIY...

    Colorado Unit 75, 751

I am thinking of applying for Colorado unit 75,751 season 2 for mule deer. I have a friend that hunted 77 for elk which is right next to 75, but he never went in to 75. He said 77 had some good bucks, but I do not have enough points to draw. Do you have any information on 75,751? Thanks...
