I wish I could try out packs. I live in VA and the only packs available are badlands at the local Cabela’s. Not much out this way as far as western big game hunting.

I took the survey. Doubt it does any good. I get the 90-10 tag wise but the outfitter welfare is a flip of the coin. Will probably come down to what the outfitters are giving the task force.

I pack my Kimber 10mm out west. I use just a hip holster here but have a bino harness with a built in holster when hunting out west.

I research different units every day, some of them over and over. When I draw a tag I try to forget about it until about a month before I leave. Thats when I start getting excited about it.
