What JimP said. We do that in all Commercial and Residential building. PVC underground is not affected by sunlight, especially if it has 30" cover per CBC.

    MOA at different elevations

None of our scopes at this time were equipped with CDS or turrets. When I had sighted my rifle in that summer it was over 100 degrees. When I killed that antelope it was 17 degrees with light snow. So that kind of goes along with what everyone here has said, really only matters at long or...

    MOA at different elevations

This kind of passed my mind today thinking about CDS scopes and MOA changes at different elevations. I am located in Calif and prior to my last visit to Wyoming in 2017, sited in our rifles at about 100' above sea level at 200 yards zero. When we went to Wyoming antelope hunting at about 6000'...

    Dove Hunting, Who Does It?

Last year was the 1st year we had to use steel. Think they are hard to hit with lead, the steel will really humble you. Had to go from #8 shot to #6 steel. On the opener I knocked down 3 or 4 with 8’s and they got up and flew away before the dog could get them. Had to switch to #6’s with higher...

    Dove Hunting, Who Does It?

We do, but lost our good ranch in Capay Valley about 5 years ago. So we go to friends ranch in Oroville which does not have a good flyway coupled with having to shoot steel for dove now really sucks. Another great Commiefornia regulation.

    Leupold CDS suggestions

I am not using this rifle/scope combo here in Ca. I use my 30-06 w/VX3 scope here. I was planning on using it for Elk out of state at higher elevations where i might need to shoot out to 400 yards or so if the the opportunity presents itself. Who makes a turret for a "Coin style " for a VX...

    Leupold CDS suggestions

Considering public access and success, that' s what I have come up with so far. Still plenty of time to figure it out. My question is what elevation and temperature settings should I consider for ordering this CDS dial. Thx TD

    Leupold CDS suggestions

I recently installed a Leupold VX-3i 4.5-14X40 CDS on my 300 RUM which I plan to use on a future elk hunt in Wyoming (possibly next year). My partner and I have 19 combined PP's and are considering about LE units 38 or 39. Before I order the 1 free CDS dial, what elevation and temperature...
