Big Ca bears like this one are garbage bears. Don’t bother with the meat to be honest. You can grind them up and mix with pork or beef fat and the meat still tastes off to me. Not worth the effort. Makes great dog food though.

Looks mid size to me. Maybe a bit young. Still wouldn’t pass on it if that’s your opening day option especially in Nv.

We did great Memorial Day weekend and the weekend after. Small stream and river fishing we averaged 18” rainbows and browns. About 8 fish each in the net all in waders and from the banks. Great time with my step son.

Very cool to see them taking care of the caribou birds and decreasing the predators. It doesn’t seem to happen that way match anymore.
