Small Calibers for Big Game Hunting

I think you are right about most shooters. Once I get a new (to me) hunting rifle, I work on developing a custom load for that rifle. Sometimes it may take 50 rounds to do that. I usually go to the range a couple of time a year and shoot my hunting rifles. Once I get the load developed and it...

Elk hunt for my Dad, NV, CO, AZ, WY?

Every hunting rifle I own is capable of killing an animal beyond 500 yards, me not so much. It took a lot of work to find the correct load that the rifle liked and would shoot that distance. All my rifles are "old school" calibers and it took a lot of work to get that load. Just because you have...

    New Hunting Rig

I read the manufacturers description. It has internal batteries.....for sensor and controller and air compressor power from your 12v system? When you need to adjust air pressure you stop and hookup an airline to each tire?

    New Hunting Rig

Manual system? How do you set/reset tires. How difficult was it to install? I am not dedicated off roader, but I do use my 4x4 F350 off road hunting and it could be useful to have.

IMO it ain't hunting! I have taken an antelope at 460 yards, but I'll never shoot that far again, 400 yards is my self imposed limit.

Nope. I have a .257 Wby and a 25-06. Why get another .25 when mine do the job and have for over 60 years. I have killed over 100 deer and antelope with my .25-06.
