    GETTIN OLD.......

I hear you....I played college football at a major big time university (was a linebacker). As a result I have the shoulder replacements, a total knee and an ankle replacement. If I had it to do over, I would have played golf!

    GETTIN OLD.......

I know I've posted before about the aliments we all suffer as we get older, but I couldn't let this just pass with out my comments. Had 2 total shoulder replacements 3 years ago that made me feel 30 years younger. Full range of motion and no pain, just issues with lack of strength from favoring...

    Uploading pictures

I just went thru several hundred pictures I took on our Alaska trip in May/June. I bought a new iPhone X for the rip and took all the pictures with it. Every one of them is too big (too much data) to post here. I never had a problem posting on the old format of the Forum. Looks like now I'll...

    Wyoming Tag

I have hunted the unit (when I can draw it) since 1980 and know it well. It took max points to draw, so as I am 77 now, this will be it for me.

    Coot hunting in nm

My Dad owned a duck hunting club in Imperial Valley in so California and we shot a few coots...(we called them mud hens). Depending on what they are eating, they can be good to awful. The ones we ate that were good were feeding on wheat and had lots of fat on them. Cooked them like ducks. Same...

I just tried to upload from my desktop a photo for a new post. Would not insert images says "file too large". Did the parameters for pictures that can be loaded change with the new webpage software? I've loaded this picture before with no problems.

    Magnums-best recoil compromise?

My rifle for elk & larger game is a .300 Wby built on a custom commercial Mauser action. I shoot a 180 gr bullet in my handloads. I do have a muzzlebreak that is threaded so I can remove it. As several have mentioned, the bench work is where it beats you up. The break cuts the recoil down to...

    iPhone XS Camera

A few months back I got rid of my flip phone and got an Xs so I could use it on our trip to Alaska. I got it more for emails and staying in touch with a few friends on Facebook, but the pictures are fantastic. The only downside for me is it is heavy and big compared to the old flip phone.

    Apollo 11.....50 Years Later

When I started, everyone had a slide rule and one of the old clunky Frieden calculator. I was recently cleaning out some storage boxes and found my slide rule and I couldn't remember how to use it...LOL!
