I got a Weston meat slicer on the way. Need to have a little higher production rate of the jerky and the cutting portion always took sonlong in the past.

Gooseapalooza phase 2 complete.

Learn to use a diaphragm call. Cut it to fit your mouth. Bend the metal pallet plate if needed and try several different ones. Carltons and Rocky Mountain Hunting Calls would be my recommendation.

Ive never heard of that or read amything biological wise to support it. I think snow on the ground is the single deciding factor. If they cant eat, they will move.

Phase 2 began today. Lot more birds pushed in over the weekend to include a bunch of ducks and snows. Big flights were hard to decoy. We dropped another four for the soup pot. Ran a med spread this am then went huge this afternoon. Elk brats for lunch in the pit
