Let's see where the bell curve hits across all weapons. I hypothesize the majority of shots are 2-300 yards, but I predict there will be a skewed sub 100 yards.
My Cut order on a deer or elk is usually:
Tenderloins- Whole
Loin- 8 inch boneless roasts
Hams- Boneless Round Steaks
Shoulders- Ground or Stew meat
Rib or neck meat- Ground
Pigs
Smoked bone in hams
Boneless Loins
Boneless Tenderloin
Ribs
Picnic roast-2
Boston Butt Roast-2

Looks like I have a few weekends busy in NW Nevada...
Planning 2 scouting trips. One to cover as much ground as possible, and then a second to look into an area more in detail. The unit is 7 hours from my home.
Of the 3 units the tag is good for one of the units stands out in animal size...
In the Nevada MRS in the Magazine there was a section about how the draw works......For OREGON!
Any chance there is that section written for Nevada? I'm trying to explain the process to a friend and I'd like to have a concise written backup.
