Yep me too! There is a pretty nice tank in a dammed up draw with a lot of water in it. Looks to me that the broadhead is from this year and the archery hunter probably had a blind near the water. If the buck had his head down drinking and heard the release and turned his head toward the shooter...
If you look at the last picture, you will see a silver spot low on the bucks right horn. It is an archers broadhead! Someone sure made a bad shot on the buck. We had a great trip and Ron got a really good buck. I am going to rough measure it and see what he scores.
Left home on Wednesday so we could spend a couple of days scouting. We arrived near Antonito to the turnoff and about an hour and a half of rock, bumpy and gravel road to camp at about 1:00 in the afternoon. Got to the campspot and setup everything before dark.

I don't think the initiative that was passed actually spelled out the way Parks & Wildlife should stock the wolves, just that a plan must be in place and stocking begin by the end of 2023. The Wildlife Commission and P & W would formulate the plan.

I drew a rifle bull tag for 61 last year, but because I had back surgery in July, turned it in and got my points back. I have a 4th season cow tag in a unit right next to 61 this year that didn't cost me any points. 61 comes next year.
