Thanks. I replaced the old ones with the same tire and tread pattern because I really liked them and got great mileage out of them.

Not exactly broken, but getting my utv ready for hunting season. Bought new tires yesterday....boy they were spendy! over $600 for 4 of them. The tires I replaced had over 6m miles on them and I probably could have gotten another season out of them, but better safe than sorry! Next is servicing.

    Moving

If you are serious about Wyoming, I can refer you to some antelope and deer areas. Non residents take a bunch of points, but if you live there....nada.

    Moving

I too don't like the way politics are going here in Colorado. I have lived here since 2000 when I retired. My wife and I spent 20 years looking for where we would retire and like I mentioned before, I loved Lander, Wy. But I am 82 years old and I really don't feel like moving again, so we will...

Info on Western Outdoor Adventures LLC

Don't know anything about them, BUT they seem to be a pretty good outfit to do some research on. I am looking for an elk outfitter here in Colorado and I have a bunch of points (more than I will ever get again as I am getting up there in birthdays celebrated!!).

    Which Choice

Been a life member of the NRA for over 60 years, just an annual member of RMEF. When I took my life member of NRA things were a lot different. The NRA did more than lobby and ask for money, they actually helped shooters as their main duty. Today I get almost weekly communications from RMEF...

    Secondary Draw Results

The cow elk I applied for was 3rd season and there were 3 available. I applied knowing my chances were slim to none. All went to junior hunters. I really think Parks & Wildlife has done a great job in enhancing the kids chances to draw. These are our future.

    Secondary Draw Results

Just got notified I was not successful for the cow elk permit I applied for in the secondary draw. There were only 3 tags and I didn't think I would draw one, but you never know. I did draw last year in the secondary draw.

    Moose Ribs/open fire

You are right about tough meat. What I do on elk and moose ribs is saw each side into two racks, so you end up with at least 4 racks. Then I pressure cook a rack for between 5 and 10 minutes, depending on size & thickness. THEN after cooling off put them on the grill or on the hot coals of an...

If they are useless, why are they included? Paying for something that is "useless". I'll take the Outdoor Edge knife with replacement blades that I use now!
