Do they generally sell out? I see that there were nearly 700 tags leftover last year. I've wanted to hunt this area for a while, and might combine it with my SE MT deer hunt this year if I fill my MT tag early and there are still tags available.

So I'm heading to AZ after Thanksgiving for a Coues hunt, and want to buy a lion tag "just in case." I'm also considering returning in January for a Javelina bowhunt. Will my lion tag still be good, or do they expire at the end of the calendar year?
