  • responding to your message, forgot we've pm'd before. Was talking about NV elk for my dad... maybe some onX tips? and outfitters? I have it written down somewhere, but NV elk originally started out for me because i saw randy ulmer take a monster about 25 years ago....
    Hi,
I have been away for some time, chasing salmon, rockcod and crab here on the west coast. It's now time to focus on hunting. I have 15 Pts for antelope going into this years NV draw. I asked a guide last year for suggestions and he gave me a bunch of sure thing draws that did not consider all of my points. Do you have any suggestions for areas based on my 15 points? Thanks as always!!

That’s a ton of points for Nv Antelope.
the Northern units I think are best. 011 is good, 022-021 can hold some big bucks but the numbers are low.
031-051 are pretty good units also.
We booked Shoshone for 2022 elk. Spoke with Josh and he sounds like a solid guy. Now just the wait.
Yep, I hunted with Josh for sheep in 2017 for sheep. I'm resident but didn't have the luxury of having stock to get to the sheep. It was a great hunt and I killed a ram on the 5th day with my bow. He's well respected and probably one of best outfitters in the Cody area. You'll have a great hunt with him imo!
NV deadline is kinda sneaking up on me and im headed to cali in morning so its about time to donate my money to NV. lol. Was wondering what you think of the early vs late deer seasons. almost all are alot better odds early season and rated better late season. I have been putting 071-079, 91 early as my first choice. Im just going to get a point for elk and antelope this year since time and money are limited. Thanks.
