Droopy Ears = UPDATED W/Pictures

This morning I saw a mule deer doe at my place that had drooping ears. She appeared to be ok healthwise. Her coat was pretty good and she wasn't too skinny. The first thing I thought was CWD, but looking up the symptoms, drooping ears is not one of them. I look around and see if I can get a picture of her. Looked really strange almost like a goat.

I've seen a few of them in my years, even one that almost looked like a old hound dog they drooped down so much.

I’m betting that a Bullet grazed her head and tore the ear tendon.

That happened to a buck on our property. We killed droopy at age 5.5 with that telltale droopy ear.

I don't think I have ever seen one with both ears drooping like that.

And looks ok otherwise. Weird.

Lion might have gotten those ear tendons.

That is bizarre, I’ve seen bucks with droopy ears I presume from fighting, but never a doe with both ears just flopped down like that.
