Shot this buck on November 4th at 3:30 in the afternoon. Only my second day of hunting in Wisconsin. After being gone for 11 days elk hunting in Wyoming I didn’t push to hunt too much at home. Trying to keep the home front happy.

My group of 5 is planning on applying for general elk in the regular drawing In 2021. We will have an average of 3.6 points. I see the draw odds were 100% with 3 points this year. Assuming point creep will continue as it slowly has in the general regular draw it will take <4 to have 100% draw...

I realize it won’t be easy, but we will be as prepared as we can. I know there will plenty of learning as we go, but you never learn if you don’t try. Does anyone know of any outfitters that will pack meat out in any of these units? This may sway some of decision making on the spots we decide...
