Actually, I think I put in with 19. Thinking that it would put me at 20. I guess that isn't the case. I was 1 of the 17 that didn't draw with 19 I believe.
So I dove in with my 20 NR points. Hoping to get out of this chaotic preference point race. Last year it took 18 years for 100% draw success for the unit I applied for. A question I have to this group is: How tough is the moose hunt with archery equipment? Can a guy get into 50 yards...
I'm sure this has been covered in a thread here but I couldn't find anything. My question is, if I have 18 moose preference points right now, do I actually have 19 when I put in for the draw? Trying to figure out a plan to get out of the moose race. Thanks in advance.
Hello, I have been looking at the forums for a couple of years now and thought I would formally introduce myself. I am from Rapid City and have a passion for hunting. I try to get out elk hunting every year, either myself or with a friend lucky enough to draw a tag. I have hunted Colorado...
Just curious what type of set-up people are using for moose, such as draw weight, arrow weight, broadheads, and etc. I've got enough pref points to get a Bighorns tag in the next year or two and just wanted to start talking moose.
