I struck out for elk (10 points), then applied for deer (11 points) and antelope (12 points). Drew the non resident deer tag, struck out on antelope. Really looking forward to the deer hunt, it will be my first mule deer hunt.

I just got back from Yellowstone and on the way back to Iowa I swung through the Wyoming LQ unit I drew with 11 points. I saw pretty much the same thing, lots of doe's and every single one had at least one fawn with her. I am looking forward to early October when I can go back for the hunt.

I checked the draw odds for 62 this past season and it looks to me that 15 points was the minimum for special and regular price non resident.
