    6.5 To kill an elk?

Just thought I’d weigh in. I’m a bow hunter but do use a rifle every now and then. My kids are getting old enough to hunt so I purchased a 6.5 CM last spring. My daughter is 12 and just put her elk tag on an animal at 125 yds. From a bow hunter standpoint the 6.5 is plenty if you are smart...

For elk, Knowing when to be aggressive and when to be patient either calling or stalking. Don’t watch the videos as the only ones published are the few successful attempts at being aggressive. Ask yourself how much film do they have where it was unsuccessful. Over the years I’ve taken more...

Looking into new spotting scope. Have a close friend with Leupold Goldring 12x40x60 and have always been dissapointed at the upper power levels. It blurs to the point that it is almost unsuable and has even been sent in for warranty work. I'm definitely interested in the Vortex. How much of...

    bow sights

If you are interested, I have a new in the box AXT Carbon Carnivore 5 pin sight. Its not on my bow because I have a removable sight I like better for backpack hunts. Its nice and light weight and the pins bring in lots of light.

    New Rest Recommendation

I'm getting a new bow (the bowtech experience!)and would like to hear some rest recommendations. I currently shoot a fixed rest and have loved it but figure its time to transition to a drop away. I don't feel I need a top line rest so any recommendations? Thanks,

    Bowtech Experience v. Hoyt Faktor

Looking for a new bow and have been a fan of bowtech the last 10 years. I'm not a speed junky, want a smooth draw, and something well balance so I don't need a long stabilizer. I'm looking at the Experience or the Faktor and unfortunately since I'm left handed cannot go to archery shop with...
