I grew up hunting in nd. I was able to draw an any antelope tag on 2 occasions in nd. antelope are one of my favorite animals to hunt. on average it takes about 5 years to draw an any antelope tag in nd. I had 4 preference points going into the 2009 drawing and I was one of the 3% of the applicants with 4 points that was unsuccessful in the drawing, terrible luck. in 2010 nd did not have an antelope season due to a large portion of the population dying in consecutive tough winters. in the 2010 I decided to buy a leftover antelope tag in Wyoming and I have went back every year since. I have been buying preference points for antelope, mule deer, and elk.
