Pake killed his second bird at about 20 yards with his .410, he is hooked for sure now. He wants to fill his 3rd tag, oh boy the work begins for me!

I just bought him a new 7mm-08 in the Savage youth model axis for his B-Day next month. He will be ready to shoot some deer this fall!

I need to get you both up here for a moose or caribou hunt! I wish you were here in a week or two, I'm solo on this bear hunt. I don't mind hunting them alone but packing a big bear out, or rolling him over to skin, is a real chore!

We need to get together for sure. It's on my bucket list lol. We got a cruise next month, both my boys B-Day, Amy & I have our 18th anniversary. Plus ballgames & rodeos, not sure how we manage with two jobs & a farm! Good luck on the bear hunt. Talk to you later.
