Took this pic when I was elk hunting. He did not give a rats azz I was there. November hunt. I would of just because I love odd balls. Could of been EHD or something. He was fat and healthy.

If I was elk hunting and had a tag in my pocket for a mule deer well it depends. With a rifle, no. With a bow, maybe, depends on where I'm at on my hunt. If it was the beginning of the hunt no at the end maybe. Now that I've shot a mule deer with my gun if hold out for something nicer since I have shot one with my bow it would be hard to pass.

I probably would. I have passed up a lot of whitetail deer that were maybes. From what I can tell that buck would be one of a kind and that will get people talking. Big main frames are great, but it's the weird, unique ones that are once in a lifetime. That's just my opinion.

I would say he definitely had "manhood" problems. I would pull the trigger in a heartbeat. He probably would be fat as a pig and great eating.

I would definitely put an arrow in him, there aren't many "stags" out there. I bet once you rolled him over to clean, you would find that he doesn't have any testicles "manhood problems". Great picture, thanks for sharing with us.

I shot one like this many, many years ago and he was one of the best eating deer I have ever shot.

I shot a WT like that as well and will concur with CC's assessment. Have another one running around that should be 6-7yrs old and chances if killing that one is slim to none since it isn't enticed by the wimmens.

I would say id shoot him to get him out of the gene pool but then again I doubt he is in the gene pool if you know what I mean so I am going to say i would have to pass.

Sometimes I am hunting for the freezer. I usually go for cow or doe, getting better meat at less cost. Sometimes I hunt for trophy so I probably would pass, depending on my license and time of season.

I almost wish they allowed for hunters to take out "management bucks" but this would probably lead to other problems vs. hunters correctly taking out management style bucks...

Definately. Big - no. Unique - yes. I agree though, there is something wrong with the hormones in that one. Weird antler growth and velvet on in November. Did it look like it could have been a doe? How was body size and head/neck shape. It clearly wasn't working up the neck rubbing but was it real thin? Cool piture if nothing else.
