With the draw odds and wait after drawing I think most of us will be lucky to draw 1 NV elk tag.

Dang hardstalk, how have you drawn 3+ elk tags in NV? It seems like I will be lucky to draw one in my life. Lucky man.
We have a ranch in 111, I've spent a few days glassing bulls out there... Ive drawn a tag, my dad has drawn, and my bro in law has drawn elk tags. I have not personally killed 3 elk. Just hunted that many in the area.
P.s. No I cant give anyone a free pass on the ranch to kill a bull, the 10foot fences dont allow any on the ranch since last year. That was ndow's way of shutting us up about landowner tags for reimbursement on what they do (did) to the wheel lines on the fields. Come rutting time they thought they were scratching posts and punching bags!
As far as I know the only way you can draw multipal Nv bull elk tags is to draw Deperdation tags and one maybe two regular bull tags.

Sounds about right unless you are a real lucky SOB and draw right after a waiting period or draw a Silver State Tag then you might be able to get 3 bull draws in a lifetime. I think back in the fall I remember you posting in a thread about a possible change to the waiting periods, any new info on that?
Nope haven't heard anymore on it. My hunting partner drew reg bull elk in 111-222 late in 06 then drew bull elk dep last year. As far as I can tell you can continue to draw dep bull tags until the waiting period of 10 years is up to draw reg bull elk. I agree you would have to be lucky but in his case he sure could draw 3 Nv bull tags. He IS the luckiest SOB I know except maybe for DR! That dude is dam lucky too.

The rate I'm at it could be possible to draw 3, I would be in my 50s/60s for the third which isn't too bad. Sitting on 9 points right now so hopefully this is the year! I will definitely be looking at depredation tags after I finally draw.

My old man has been sitting at 15 points for 4 years. He drew 2 years ago finally but had to turn it back in, it was a real bummer. I really hope he draws this year.
