I mounted a gopro camera to my stabilizer and have since moved it to the upper part of the riser. Can't really tell its on when I'm shooting and has quick release so when traveling or going through thick brush I can remove it. Seems to work well.
If you're serious about this, a company has just come out with a HDR Camera mounted inside of a stabilizer. I was at a bow shop last week and he showed me how it works and if I had the change, I'd get one. They're better video quality than gopro, and you don't get the "bubble effect." They're pretty neat. Call these guys and they can give you more information about it. I want to say it was just under $300? I can't remember exactly though.
