GEEZ hardstalk, that's another good reason to move to Alaska. No scorpions! We don't get as hot as Vegas does either. come on up!

Move to Idaho! No scorpions, no hawk sized mosquitos, not to hot, OTC deer and elk tags and you can hunt wolves most of the year! Wish I lived 20 miles farther east! LOL

Western Washington is good if you need to make a living. The hunting and fishing opportunities used to be pretty awesome as well. But, that was about 25 to 30 years ago, and I don't think it will ever be the same. But, it's the same story in a lot of states I'm sure. There's a price to pay for an ever increasing human population. No way around it.

Someday, I may migrate to the east side of the state. Maybe Wenatchee, as I think I may be able to talk the wife into that. I tried to get her to move to Wyoming already, and she wanted no part of that!

Depends how you make your living. Western WA has to many people for me.
I agree, too many people for me as well, but I'm stuck here because of my job.

Maybe I shouldn't say "stuck," because yes, I could quit and get a job in another state. But, I'd be lucky to make half of what I'm making now, and I'm counting on a pretty good retirement check from my employer.

I've got 22 years in now, I just can't see quitting. For now, I'll keep my job and placate myself with out of state hunting trips. Once I hit 30 years I can seriously begin to think about getting the heck out of here.

Decided against the couple bottles since they were 1/2 gallons of turkey! Girlfriends parents just came back from Arizona and shocked up pretty good on 1/2 gallons because its ALOT cheaper down there!

School is out for 3 weeks!!! Time to go hunt some geese, ducks and yotes for these 3 weeks. All on the ranch, might have to break out the sled and quads in the fields with the new snow. Fun times!!!
