Anyone headed to AZ in January? If you buy a Nonpermit tag, does it exclude you from the drawing later in the year? Does it take away your pref points?

It will not exclude from drawing later in the year unless you fill your tag in January. You can only kill one deer per calendar year. It will not effect any preference points.

That is correct.....you can only kill one deer per calendar year. However, you will be allowed to buy a BP for deer so you can accumulate points even after arrowing a deer in January.
Heading over to AZ right after Christmas for about 3 weeks. Still have a 2013 deer tag to fill....and will buy a new one for January 1st. Love that hunt.
