Any Snaggin Fans Out There?

I like to snag the mississippi below the dam in Alton, IL during the spring. It was flooded almost the entire season this year so didn't do so well. So many of those damn asian carp its really had to snag a spoony. I bet I snag 1 spoony to 15 asian carp. I usually give the carp away, usually there are folks down there to take them.

Those are some really nice spoonbills.

We didn't snag it, but my 6-year old son caught this last weekend. My son is 51" tall and weighs 69 lbs, the sturgeon was 62" and approximately 75 lbs and was released.

I would love to go fishing for sturgeon. That is a very nice fish. I bet your son was very excited.
