Is it expected that there will be 900 series antelope tags left? I can't find if there were and how many left over last year.

If I don't draw a Colorado archery deer tag I would like to do Montana antelope and fishing as a back-up.
They give out 5600 900 tags and last year there were 461 leftover.

Antelope apps aren't due until June 1.

I would guess 900 archery will have some left over this year.

The antelope districts north of Ft. Peck are dismal right now for sure. It didn't help that so many of them crossed the lake while it was frozen during that winter.

Not surprisingly, the south-of-the-lake units are in much better shape for numbers, thanks to the influx.

BB, my buddy also drew a limited entry mule deer permit this year. I've applied for same area for 8 years and never drawn, he puts in for 2nd time and bingo!

Perhaps we will bump into each other in the hills somewhere up no-tell-em creek.

Good luck with your permit, hope the wait will be well worth it!!!

Guess I got lucky. Really was hoping for a sheep or goat tag but drew a Shiras Moose tag in 325. Don't know much about moose hunting other than I would love to get one. Probably end up hiring a guide since its a special tag and don't much about the area or moose in general.
Any recommendations on the unit or guides for the Anaconda area? There was two listed on the fish and game site don't know if those are the only two options or not. They were Centennial and Jakes Horses. Any experience with either?

325 is a relatively small area they only give out two moose tags for 325. I would think the success rate would be 100% .
