So are you going to X10 again this year?Congrats to everyone that drew!
I've never hunted X-10. I'll be hunting the Arizona California border way south of X-10. The burro muledeer. Some toads are taken from that zone every year! With a little scouting and luck hopefully our group can find a few.So are you going to X10 again this year?
Anybody else here got X10?
My bad, it's Sawfish that I'm thinking of...don't know why I confused you with himI've never hunted X-10. I'll be hunting the Arizona California border way south of X-10. The burro muledeer. Only drew my third choice this year D-14, but I also have a B one tag. The way things are shaping up with the state legislature, looks like we are on the skids so far as hunting goes in this state. I am going all in next year, and spending my available points for all species. Then I will concentrate on Texas. No drawing. No points. OTC tags for resident and nonresident alike. Gun and hunting friendly state, and lots of deer.My bad, it's Sawfish that I'm thinking of...don't know why I confused you with him.
Happy hunting, though. Never been down that way, but I imagine that is some rugged country.
I have always been interested in that hunt, but never applied because I know nothing about the area. I will be interested in your hunting report.I've never hunted X-10. Hey Sawfish, HuntWyDon put in with my party this year, I think his luck is what made it happen! LOLI have always been interested in that hunt, but never applied because I know nothing about the area. I will be interested in your hunting report.
I've hunted about 4-5 years ago, before it went to a draw zone.I have always been interested in that hunt, but never applied because I know nothing about the area. I will be interested in your hunting report.
The lowest point value it went to last year was 2, highest was 8. He got lucky! only 315 tags for that zone. Muzzleloader tag for that zone is one of the best in the state. My friend and I drew X6B with no points. Zilch on everything else.
No over the counter tags??No tags for me. Which makes 0 for the year. What a bummer and with eight points. I am going to drink some beer lol
I understand he is a real good hunting partner. Does all of the scouting, field dresses the deer and packs it out, brings the food, and pays for the gas! You guys really did luck out! But, wait! I think he drew D-14-right?Hey Sawfish, HuntWyDon put in with my party this year, I think his luck is what made it happen! LOL
LOL! we did luck out then!I understand he is a real good hunting partner. Does all of the scouting, field dresses the deer and packs it out, brings the food, and pays for the gas! You guys really did luck out! But, wait! I think he drew D-14-right?
Good luck in Idaho KevinI just got more points on everything across the board again and a deer tag that I can't use very well in C zone due to the hunting lease falling through. No happy surprises here on my end. Oh well, I'll still be out hunting another OTC choice here in California and or I also enjoy hitting new wilderness every year just for fun to see something new.
On the plus side, this year hunting Deer and Elk in Idaho in October. I only budget a hunt out of state every other year and this is my out of state hunt year. The location has moved a few times but we are settled on a choice as of this week. I confirmed the tags and it's nice having something set to go to.
