Wolf tag or not?

I will be hunting in SE Montana this fall. The area is 705 around Ekalaka. What's the chance of seeing a wolf on this area? Should I buy a tag? Thanks in advance.

I don't personally know the area, but I certainly doubt that you'll see a wolf in SE Montana...SW Montana they're around there for sure.

SSS heard that before out there! LOL But to answer your question I wouldn't waste my money on a wolf tag in that area.

Come to think of it, it's out of the Recovery area and I'm pretty sure it's a Shoot on Sight situation. No tag needed, they're considered an unprotected predator like a coyote.

Not in MT. I am not advocating SSS. The likelihood of seeing a wolf around
