The deer and elk hear the side by sides coming for miles. You’ll do well with that choice.
I always believed that too, until I drove up on top of a herd of 200 cow elk with my Polaris Ranger, closest being 20 yards below me. I was blown away that one animal looked my way or spooked. Of course, the stalk was all but perfect with archery equipment then the Air Force out of Mountain Home flew an extremely low flyby with what I can guess to be a C-130 plane and pushed the elk to the open mountain face next to the main road. Then some folks driving the main road proceeded to use a drone and push the elk into Idaho (I was hunting Nevada).

Conversely, I was stalking a respectable 4 point buck a few years prior in pert near the exact same spot. Been sitting on him for over an hour when in the distance I can hear a rumbling. The target buck and 3 others stood in attention. Seemed like 5 minutes later, here comes a Polaris Razr flying down the road. They didn't see the deer and went off in the distance. Just when it looked like the deer were calming down, the Razr ended up turning around and heading right for the deer and me. I could hear the occupants talking clear as a bell from a few hundred yards as they bounced through a giant ditch. Passenger was complaining the driver almost spilled his beer!! They had a good laugh, all the while the deer snuck into the trees right under the road they were driving. Buck couldn't have been 20 yards from them while I was laying still 80 yards away on the sage brush hill side basically in the wide open. Kuiu Vias worked really well for me that day. Long story short, they were on a dead end road, had to come by again, and once gone I got to within 68 yards then busted.

Curious to see what mods you have made on it?
Holding off on some mods for now, College tuition ate up some funds. I am going thru the mechanical stuff, putting new engine mounts and exhaust manifold today. I do want new bumpers with winch mounts and will shorten up the wheel width after i burn up the brand new tires on it. Heading out next Thursday for muzzleloader Antelope think we are taking my buddy's jeep for that one.

Just finished putting a crate motor, new water pump, special radiator, motor mounts, exhaust manifold, ignition, four wheel complete brake replacement with drilled and slotted rotors etc. Next is changing the rear end into basically a Dana 44 air locker with 456 gears, aditional 2' lift in the front with some suspension / steering up grades, rock sliders, winch and new bumpers (rear tire carrier). Plan on changing the tire & rim width to taller and narrower.

That is going to be a really capable vehicle! On my archery elk hunt there was guy in an old wrangler, the right kind with round headlights....and he was making VERY quick work of the roads we were hunting. Was a lot fun to watch him tackle things we were moving pretty quick over in the SXS. Funny thing is that he moved faster than us quite a bit.

well other than the bumpers this should be on the road this weekend, here some off the stuff that has been installed. You can see what a difference the control arm kit did .

If you look at the last picture i posted (tire air system) you hook up the line with the gauge to the air compressor and run the 4 lines to the tires and set whatever desired air pressure up or down and it will inflate or deflate to that setting. I haven't used it yet is was recommended by a friend who runs the Rubicon and King of the Hammers. I have a dual 300psi compressor installed to run the air system for one side and the air locker on the othercompressor installed.jpgtire air system.jpg

I read the manufacturers description. It has internal batteries.....for sensor and controller and air compressor power from your 12v system?

When you need to adjust air pressure you stop and hookup an airline to each tire?
