Unit 015 Archery Antelope? Didn't draw anything else.

That is a great unit! It was my first choice. Go early most of the guys that will hunt that unit will set up blinds on the watering holes and set up signs on roads leading to the blinds that say KEEP OUT ARCHERY HUNTING!!! It's a big area and lots of goats and water. You won't have a problum finding the goats. But if your going to hunt the water holes you need to go early and make your set up. Most Nv guys will respect your set up and find a new spot to hunt. There is also alot of permanent blinds guys have built in the past with brush. If you plan on hunting one of them be sure to leave a note with your contact info and the dates you will be hunting that blind. Good luck! Hope to see some pics of a bomber.

Holy shizzle! My taxi just told me a buddy of his drew 2 sheep tags and a mt goat! I so would not want to be that guy! He's lucky for the tags but dam I would not want all that in one year.
Hope he isn't married an that he also is in business for himself. Sounds like an easy 2 months of just scouting. I'd know I would lose my job and maybe even my wife !!!!

My dad also drew an archery 161-164 tag for deer. He also pulled an archery goat tag for the same area I had last year... 012-014!

Drew an any legal weapon mule deer buck in 161-164. This will be my first ever big game hunt in Nevada and it might be my last (I'm on military orders here) for the time that I live here, so it's time to do some homework. I've never hunted mulies before so it's high time to learn the trade! I hope to get a scouting trip in two weeks from now and aim continue doing that at least once a month.

That is my favorite area. I recommend Ike's canyon and Wallace. Some great deer there and easy access. I am after a buck I named lucky and going to get him with a bow this year and if I don't then back with rifle. Wonder how big he will be this year?

I drew161-162 Antelope shocked did not expect that.
No deer tag have to wait another year to get back up there and even the score.

Some of the biggest lopes live right there. Some bigger than ones in the sheldon area. Good luck!

Thank you very much for the suggestions. I'll be sure to check that area out when I head up in a couple of weekends. It's going to a lot of fun glassing these hillsdies.

Man my cousin accidentally put in for Cow Elk instead of Bull so he ended up drawing a Rifle Cow Elk Tag in Jarbidge! That sucks!

Ya that does for sure. He should give FnG a call maybe he can turn it in and keep his points.
That would be great for him. I may have it wrong, but I thought that was what they did and that those leftover/unclaimed tags got put up for the 2nd draw later on in June.

It shouldn't hurt him other than not getting his bull point this year as the points for bulls vs cows are seperate. That is unless he didn't put in last year then this is year 2 and all bull points would be lost.

Does anybody have any tips for cows in area 6 my kids both drew tags one muzzy and one late rifle?

No it is only tags unsold, not unclaimed, on elk tags, I've been told people next in line get "the phone call" for ndow asking them if they would like a tag.

As far as cow bull points thing, nv hunter is right, it is a different draw so it should not effect him other than him not recieving a point this year.

Keep your previous points no points for this year and they keep your money, I was gonna turn in my cow tag but I'll keep it and see if I can find one on a free weekend.
