Made our annual round the state look see.

Next was the failed attempt to set trail cams. So I rolled with it and made the most out of it.

Lastly figured out where everyone was hanging out. Not on the normal calving grounds at all.

Did you happen to see any bears? They should be hanging around the elk.

No bears at all this year. Ive never seen any in June/July. Sept though when the berries start to come in I see them on the scrub oak /aspen line of transition...or on a elk kill the years I dont grab a bear tag��

Your luck is like mine with a bear tag. If I buy one I don't see any bears, if I don't by one they are all over the place.

Thanks for posting Slugz. I always enjoy your posts and feel like your one of those guys I will probably never hunt with, but know if we did we would become fast friends! Simular age, since of humor and passions. Outdoors - hunting with our kids - all that.
