Looking to upgrade for next season as mine (finally) needs replacement. What?s everyone?s favorite and why? I don?t need a big pack, just big enough for day trips out of spike camp. Bow, food, water, and the little things. Strong enough to

I bought a Kifaru Woodsman pack for this season. It?s nice cuz it compresses down to nothing but will carry what ever you need and has the ability to haul out meat. Pack is 3400cu.in. and and with snow collar expanded opens pack to 4000cu.in. Also, you can add pockets and pullouts to the pack.

I'm so in love with my Exo 3500. Really comfortable. You could get the 2000 and it's the same frame and belt. I was going to as you can add a top pack as an extra but for the same price you could just get the 3500.

Kifaru woodsman, Exomountain 3500 or Stone Glacier 3300 would all be good choices.

100%. Everybody's tastes are different.

I prefer lumbar packs. The Alps Pathfinder is really nice here because it's a lumbar pack with a bow (or rifle) storage panel, but can also open to a full pack and/or pack-out shelf when needed. But that's personal preference. Get what works for you.

Kifaru hands down. I got the Woodsman but for day only hunts I use the frame, cargo net and top it off with the guide lid. Light as all heck and the first trip out I'm hauling heavy. Second trip in I drop the guide lid and if I need anything I put it in a stuff sack and into the cargo net it goes. The full pack has a meat shelf also.

Blacks Creek "Cure" It's a lumbar pack which will expand and you can pack a load. Check out their web site. I have one and am impressed. They are made in Idaho, and have been for a long time.

I love my Kifaru Tahr. Very comfortable and holds weight like a champ. I will be trying out the Exo 2000 next year but really just to satisfy curiosity.

I rifle hunt but the Exo 2000 or even 3500 would be worth a look. I have both bags. I actually use the 3500 more if I'm getting a spotter and tripod in and out a lot just because the side pockets make it really convenient. The 2000 holds plenty of gear but the 3500 isn't that much heavier and compacts really well.

I use a tenzing 2220. I have to say the alps outdoorz x style packs will be my next purchase though. Cheaper and made better. Badlands 2220 is also a great pack but i hate the zippers and buckles. These are all about a 1/4 the price of am exo or kifaru.
