Struck out on 1001, and also the late rifle bull tag and unit 30 pronghorn. I did draw the WT doe tag though.

I got unit 39 deer, starting August 15th, wanted to hunt those velvet antlers but can not go opening season as my son will have 10 days off after US Marine boot camp, have to go after August 20th, they still should be in velvet but pushed around by hunting pressure. Did anybody hunt that area and would like to share some experience?

nice! take your son with you. been hunting 39 most of my life ,can't wait to hear how this hunt goes. expect it to be hot out.likely still 90s for the high and ,most likely, very dry

I would love to take my son with my but I don't think there will be enough time, he needs to be back at the base by August 20th. Would you like to share some info through PM? I am just starting my research, checking GE and OnX, will be ordering some maps next week.

Grandson drew 45 buck,49 youth cow,and 36a extra cow, son in law 49 bull,and i a 49 bull,and 36a extra cow. Going to be a fun season with my family!

Just found out that my 12 year old son drew a sweet Bull tag! Looks like ill be changing my hunting plans up, gladly.
